Massage Hero Community – Terms of Use

Welcome to the Massage Hero Community (“the Community”). By joining, accessing, or participating in the Massage Hero Community — whether through your web browser or via the GoKollab mobile app — you agree to the following Terms of Use.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Community.

These Terms are between Massage Hero (“we”, “us”, “our”) and you (“member”, “user”).

1. Purpose of the Community

The Massage Hero Community is a free online space designed for massage therapists, bodyworkers, and massage therapy students to learn, share, and grow professionally.

Our aim is to create a welcoming, supportive environment for discussion, learning, and collaboration.

Core features of the Community are free and will remain free. Additional paid features or premium learning content may be introduced in the future.

2. Eligibility

You must be:

• A massage therapist, bodyworker, complementary therapist, or massage therapy student; and

• At least 18 years old; and

• Able to accept these Terms of Use.

We reserve the right to approve, decline, or remove accounts at our discretion.

3. Your Account

To access the Community, you must create an account using your real name and accurate information.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and notifying us if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Access Through GoKollab

The Community is hosted via a third-party platform, GoKollab.
Your use of the app is also governed by GoKollab’s Terms of Service, available at:

Massage Hero is not responsible for GoKollab’s platform performance, outages, or technical issues.

5. User Conduct & Community Expectations

To keep our community safe and supportive, you agree to:

Be respectful

No harassment, bullying, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour.

Keep client information confidential

Never share identifiable client details, records, or sensitive health information.

Avoid unsolicited promotion

No spamming, mass-messaging, or private-message promotion of your products or services.
Sharing your website or work when relevant to the discussion is fine.

Participate honestly

Share truthful information and avoid misleading claims.

Use private messages responsibly

Private messaging is allowed, but must not be used for commercial promotion.

We may remove posts or accounts that violate these expectations.

6. User-Generated Content

Anything you post (e.g., comments, discussions, images, files) is visible to other Community members.

By posting content, you grant Massage Hero a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, or quote your content for community promotion or educational purposes, with credit where appropriate.

You retain ownership of your own content.

We reserve the right to remove or moderate any content that violates these Terms or harms the Community.

7. No Professional or Medical Advice

Content shared in the Community — whether by members or by Massage Hero — is for general education only.

It is not professional medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice and should not replace professional guidance, treatment, supervision, or clinical training.

Massage Hero is not responsible for decisions made based on information shared by other members.

8. Events, Webinars & Learning Content

We may host webinars, live events, courses, and training sessions within the Community.
All such content is provided “as is” for general informational purposes.

Members wishing to present a webinar must contact the Massage Hero admin team for approval.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.
Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is collected, used, and protected.

10. Termination

You may leave the Community at any time.

Massage Hero may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behaviour.

We may also remove posts that are off-topic, promotional, harmful, inappropriate, or violate the spirit of the Community.

11. Limitation of Liability

Massage Hero is not responsible for:

• The actions or posts of any member;

• Advice, opinions, or information shared by members;

• Loss of data, service interruptions, or platform failures;

• Any damages arising from your use of the Community.

Your use of the Community is at your own discretion and risk.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally.
Continued use of the Community after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be handled by courts in that jurisdiction.
